We held the Branch AGM in February and hopefully members will have been given their programme cards for the monthly meetings during 2018. Please try to support the speakers if you can, as on one or two occasions last year it was quite embarrassing to only have a handful of people turning up. We welcome our newest member, Donna who has been enrolled into St Martin’s branch.
As our meeting on Tuesday 20th March falls during Lent, Barrie Wild will be coming to tell us more about it. We start at 7.30pm in the church lower hall and everyone (not just members) is welcome to share in fellowship and a cuppa after the talk.
Mothering Sunday is on 11th March and I have been sent leaflets to join in with the ‘Make a Mother’s Day’ campaign. I will leave some on the table in church in case anyone wishes to support this worthwhile cause.
